Nobody ever said Commissioner Johnny Cisco was subtle and kind. Far from it. But Saturday night our incomparable commissioner had some particularly scathing words about the ACPW Underground Championship. "This title, since its inception, has been an absolute joke and is a stain on MY company! The division is weak, the title is pointless, and the 'champion', and i use the term very loosely, is a mockery as well. It's time to shake things up and turn this garbage into something respectable." Commissioner Cisco has implemented a whole entire rule set for the division seemingly transforming it from a meaningless undercard title, to something the fans and wrestlers can be proud of. The new ACPW Underground Championship rules more closely follow those of underground pit fighting, where there are NO DQ's, NO countouts and the title can and will be defended 24/7/365. As Commissioner Cisco stated 'As long as there is a ref and a camera it counts.'Current ACPW Underground Champion Marc Angel had this to say about the rule changes after he defeated Chris Burns to retain his title: "Johnny Cisco can say what he wants about this title and about me. But i know and all the fans know i'm a proud fighting champion and i'll do whatever it takes to keep the title where it belongs. I come from the streets of Philly, this type of match is right up my alley, i've dealt with this all my life, so if he thinks he's making things tougher for me he's got another thing coming. Marc Angel will be the ACPW Underground Champion for a long long time i can promise you that." Marc Angel needs to have eyes in the back of his head and sleep with one eye open though. Waiting in the wings is the new number one contender for the Underground Championship, the Baltimore Bad Boy and Johnny Cisco's protege in Violent Intentions, Matt Wylde. It seems that Johnny Cisco specifically create these rules to benefit Wylde in his hunt for gold and elimnate Marc Angel from ACPW for good. Can Marc Angel beat the odds and continue his reign as Underground Champion? Will Johnny Cisco get his way and manage yet another champion? What other surprises will this new improved Underground division bring? Pelle Primeau is a fighting champion in every sense of the term. Putting his title on the line day in day out every time he steps in the ring shows what kind of heart and pride Pelle Primeau has for what he does. When it comes to talent and ability it is unquestioned who is king of the jr.'s division...but as we saw last month, only Pelle's character and attitude are to be questioned. Long a fan favorite in ACPW, Pelle wowed the masses with his acrobatics and death defying offense, but after being shunned by ACPW management and turning on his once friend and student Eric 'Blackie' DeShields, we saw a side of Pelle Primeau that we never thought posssible. A side full of loathing and anger and jealousy with an ego that demands he prove he is the best in the world. That ego propelled him to throw out an open challenge to anybody who thought he was man enough to step in the ring and strip the title off of the King of the Jr's. That challenge was accepted by none other than Adrian Bliss! With an alternative style of offense to match his lifestyle, Adrian brings to the table things that Pelle may not be prepared for. Can the King of the Jr's stay perched on his throne? Will Adrian Bliss topple Pelle and usher in a rainbow era for the Jr's division? Find out Saturday August 28th!

Saturday August 28th, ACPW brings to you our Summer Special, where tickets are only five dollars at the door. Its a great way to beat the heat outside and check out the best wrestling action money can buy. With our Summer Special we’ve put emphasis on ‘special’ as the one and only Corky goes one on one with Trevor Justice. Corky brings his innovative offense and ‘special’ personality to the ACPW ring to go up against one of ACPW’s bright young stars in Trevor Justice. Corky can absorb punishment like no other so Trevor Justice will try to end this one as early as possible. Can Trevor Justice become a One Move Wonder and take out the Special One? Or will Corky put out the young up and comers fire?
Helter Skelter has been unbeatable since stepping into an ACPW ring and gaining the highly coveted Tri-State Championship, defeating such stars as Larry Zbysco, Superfly Snuka, The Patriot, Jake ‘the snake’ Roberts, and many others along the way. On August 28th he puts his title on the line against a new opponent, and one who is as mysterious and out there as it comes. El Piñata, according to him, grew up in Tijuana loathing the way children and adults alike would beat on defenseless piñatas just for the sweet treats inside. After wrestling a match in Mexico and getting beaten with a singapore cane he realized the pain and strife a piñata goes through and from that moment decided to don a mask and fight back for the pride and respect of all piñatas. This masked avenger has chosen ACPW for his american debut and has the dubious task of unseating Helter Skelter as the ACPW Tri-State Champion. Will Helter deport the masked El Piñata? Can the Saviour of all Piñatas break Helter and walk away champion?
In tag team action, Eric ‘Blackie’ DeShields and The Force that is Ty Reno take on Frankie Frizzo and Lil Rob. After losing the tag team titles last month and with Onslaught nowhere to be found, Rob looks to get back on his winning ways by pairing himself with Frankie Frizzo, who has enlisted the help and guidance of Loudy to get his career back on track. Blackie is coming off a heartbreaking loss in a brutal and very personal Jr. Heavyweight Championship match against his former friend Pelle Primeau. While suffering the loss, Blackie took it to the Jr. Heavyweight Champ like nobody has before, not even Gemini. Pair his speed and technique with Ty’s unadulterated pure power and they look to be a force to be reckoned with in a match with Tag Title implications.
Our incomperable comissioner Johnny Cisco has made his intentions clear, teaming up with Matt Wylde to form Violent Intentions, their goal is seemingly to dominate and run ACPW. With Cisco's political power and keen evil mind and the sheer brutality of the Baltimore bad boy, they seem nigh unstoppable. ACPW Underground Champion Marc Angel tries to do just that as he puts his title on the line against Matt Wylde. Angel has his work definitely cut out for him but the Philadelphia Guardian is a proud fighting champion and will do whatever it takes to retain his title. Will the numbers game be too much for Marc Angel to handle? What other surprises does Johnny Cisco and Violent Intentions have for us?
According to very knowledgable sources, on the 28th we will witness the return of a former Jr. Heavyweight Champion! Our source, who chooses to remain anonymous, has told me that this man is returning to make his mark on ACPW after a long extensive training session with some of the best wrestlers in the world and is better than ever before and on top of his game, not to mention is a little 'sick' in the head. Chris Burns has the daunting task of preparing for not only a mystery opponent, but a former champion as well. If the rumors are true and his mystery opponent is as good as is being informed, then Chris Burns is in for an uphill battle. Who is Chris Burns' mystery opponent? What can we expect from him? Find out Saturday Augustt 28th.
A huge 4-Way Dance has been announced as our main event! The spoon loving Mega Destroyer takes on three ACPW newcomers: Zito, Grey Wolf, and Steve O'Hara. Mega Destroyer's sanity has been questioned time and time again, the man talks to a spoon after all. But one thing that has never been questioned is his ability. Two months ago he entered into the ACPW World Title tournament and held is own and was narrowly defeated by eventual finallist Shaheem, and last month taking Korpse the distance in a time limit draw (something Gemini has only managed to do once). In his way is the dangerous Grey Wolf. A massive monster of a man who's overwhelming strength preceeds him. You can bet that Grey Wolf will definitely be a force to be reckoned with. Steve O'Hara is a former ACPW Trainee making his debut with the company he got his start with. O'Hara graduated with a chip on his shoulder and a bad attitude and looks to prove to those who trained him that he is not only the real deal, but the best student to ever come from this gym. Zito, another relative newcomer to the business, has already accomplished much in his short career, winning championships all up and down the east coast. When it comes to being a show stealer and a main eventer, Zito is no rookie. Bringing in his unorthodox and exciting offense he looks to make a mark on ACPW and strike it rich and add more gold to his already shining resume. Which one of these four combatants will reign supreme? Will the newcomers make a statement? Find out Saturday August 28th!!!
